The Core
Knowledge Philosophy serves as the framework for our
teaching style. This philosophy puts emphasis on young children
and basic
skills such as reading, writing, science, social studies, and
math. The curriculum is sequenced in an order corresponding to
the age/grade
of each child. This philosophy effectively assists us in focusing
on each child as an individual rather than all children in any
given classroom.
The Children’s Connection has a combined experience of over
15 years in early childhood. We have educated staff and our teachers
have a great passion to work with young children. Instead of “watching” your
child, we will “teach” your child to help them be
as successful as they can be.
The Children’s Connection has a unique service concept: We
provide a highly educated staff, a great learning environment,
and lower child to teacher ratio in our classrooms.
